ORIGINS
My father was a Harley-Davidson® mechanic and my mother worked as a freelance digital designer for a local manufacturer. Together, they raised me and my younger brother in Battle Creek, Michigan—better known as “Cereal City.”
My first full-time job was in the HR department of a global auto parts manufacturer in my hometown. Despite my industrial roots, I’ve always been drawn to the arts. Early on, I studied fine art, photography, and graphic design, but soon realized that pairing creativity with business would open more doors. Advertising became the perfect major, allowing me to merge the two worlds.
I earned my bachelor’s degree at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo—the birthplace of Gibson Guitars—where my professional journey began. Since then, my career has taken me across the globe, connecting me with diverse communities and fascinating individuals along the way.
Today, I live in San Antonio, Texas, where I work as a Marketing Events Manager for a large supply chain company. I’ve built a career around strategy, communication, and creating meaningful connections. Today, I am focused on applying those same skills in a more human-centered direction—transitioning toward work that supports personal growth, well-being, and positive change. My goal is to merge the practical expertise I’ve developed in the business world with my passion for empowering others, creating a path that is both purposeful and people-focused.
